AMBSO’s Social and Behavioral Studies Program focuses on understanding how social, cultural, economic, and behavioral factors influence health and well-being within communities across Uganda.
The program conducts research that examines human behavior, social relationships, mental health, gender dynamics, healthcare-seeking practices, and community perceptions related to public health challenges.
Through evidence-based research and community engagement, AMBSO develops insights that support the design of effective interventions, policies, and programs aimed at improving health outcomes and promoting positive behavioral change among vulnerable populations.
