Our Team

AMBSO is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of distinguished Ugandan research scientists and founding members who provide strategic leadership and oversight. The Executive Director, who also serves as Chairperson of the Board, works closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to guide the organization’s vision and ensure effective implementation of its mission. Together, these structures provide technical and operational leadership, overseeing the day-to-day management of AMBSO’s diverse research, public health, and development programs.
